'Fair Verona’ Book Lover Vegan Candle | 50 Hour Burn Time

Sold out

This vegan candle is inspired by Verona from Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. We’ve captured the scents and smells of this famous location (with a little influence from Baz Lurhmann’s vision) and bottled it in this beautiful amber apothecary style jar with approximately fifty hours of burn time. Perfect gift for book lovers, bookworms, readers and bibliophiles.

Fair Verona encompasses base notes of vanilla and almond with tropicana inspired top notes of coconut, bergamot, orange and amber. It’s the perfect scent for some much needed escapism!

Add our edition of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare to make your gift extra special. Books are Wordsworth editions and feature our exclusively designed dust jackets. You can see a photo in the product images.

Our jars can be repurposed after use and our candles are 100% soy wax, hand poured in small batches by our friends at Lollyrocket. Free UK delivery. 8.5cm (H) x 6.5cm (W).

Our lovely friends in the EU might like to know that have managed to put measures in place to collect taxes at the point of checkout, so purchases from our Etsy store won't be subject to further taxes on arrival in the EU. Not all of our products are on there because some are not eligible to be sold on Etsy but most are. Please be aware that while Etsy are processing sales tax, they are not processing customs fees, so they may still be payable on receipt.

There's more information about customs and VAT here.

EU CUSTOMERS - Subscriptions

Sadly we have had to remove the EU shipping option for subscriptions from our website. There's no practical way for us to prevent fees being charged EVERY time you receive a monthly parcel if you shop via our website. Some of our subscriptions are available in our Etsy store and Etsy will process the sales tax (but not the duties) for us. If you decide to buy a subscription via Etsy then you'll get a message from us suggesting that we send all the months in one go for you to open in turn.
