Our Favourite Maya Angelou Quotes

Our Favourite Maya Angelou Quotes

We’re celebrating the iconic Maya Angelou this week, born 4th April 1928. Angelou has penned a number of phenomenal works, including And Still I Rise and I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. She received over fifty accolades and awards for her writing, spanning from three Grammys and a Pulitzer Prize nomination through to the Spingarn Medal, National Medal of Arts and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Angelou was a remarkable individual who demonstrated grace and courage throughout her life. We’d encourage anyone with the time to read her collection of memoirs.

For us, we thought that sharing some of our favourite quotes from her multitude of works might be a small but fitting tribute to her magnificent writing.
