What’s it about?

Merging two timelines, the story follows a young orphaned girl named Kya who raises herself in the marshlands of 1950s North Carolina and the present-day (1960s) murder of popular local man, Chase Andrews.

Set in Dublin, the story centres around two student friends, Frances and Bobbi, who end up becoming romantically involved with an older married couple named Nick and Melissa. 

Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie | Release Date: 11th February 2022

Film Adaptation. Directed by Kenneth Branagh. Screenplay by Michael Green. Starring Kenneth Branagh, Gal Gadot, Dawn French, Ali Fazal. 

What’s it about? 

Following on from the brilliant Murder on the Orient Express, Kenneth Branagh is back in his role of detective Hercule Poirot. Death on the Nile follows the investigation of the murder of a young heiress on board a ship. 

The Wonder by Emma Donoghue | Release Date: TBC (2022)

Film Adaptation. Directed by Sebastián Lelio. Screenplay by Alice Birch and Emma Donoghue. Starring Florence Pugh, Ciaran Hinds, Toby Jones, Tom Burke. 

What’s it about? 

Set in Ireland circa 1862, this psychological thriller follows Anna O’Donnell, an eleven year old girl who stops eating yet remains alive and healthy, and an English nurse named Lib Wright who is brought to the village to observe the phenomenon. 

The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien | Release Date: 2nd September 2022

Television Series. Directed by J.A Bayona, Wayne Yip, Charlotte Brandstrom. Screenplay Jason Cahill, Justin Doble, Gennifer Hutchison, Patrick McKay, John D Payne, J.R.R Tolkien, Bryan Cogman, Stephany Folsom, Glenise Mullins, Helen Shang. Starring Morfydd Clark, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Robert Aramayo and more. 

What’s it about?

Believed to be the most expensive television series of all time, this prequel series is sure to impress. The series is said to ‘unite all major stories of Middle-earth’s Second Age’. With a second series already in the works, fans of Tolkien’s world are sure to be in for a treat.
