Our literary subscriptions make a unique and thoughtful gift for book lovers everywhere. From vintage books through to classic books, we have a variety of genres on offer to suit every type of reader. Here’s everything you need to know about each of our subscriptions currently on offer.
THE BOOKISHLY CLASSIC BOOK CRATE
Each one of our book crates is themed around a different book from classic literature. It’s filled to the brim with literary gifts including books, tea, stationery and art. Our crates launch every other month and cost £35. You can buy our crates as a one off (a perfect gift idea) or you can subscribe on a bi-monthly basis. There’s free postage for those in the UK and we can also ship worldwide.
One of our bestselling subscriptions, our Coffee and Vintage Book Club works out at just £9 a month and is available in a variety of prepaid bundles, from three months through to twelve. You can also grab a rolling monthly subscription if you fancy treating yourself! Each bookish parcel arrives through the letterbox each month and contains a surprise vintage paperback, a bookmark and delicious ground roasted coffee from our friends at Perkulatte.
One of our newest subscriptions and continuously growing in popularity. Who can resist books and chocolate?! Each monthly parcel features a modern book based on or inspired by literary classics and a delicious bar of handmade artisan chocolate. Our books have been purposefully curated with each one taking inspiration from classic stories we all know and love. (Think Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre…) To help make the link between the two stories, our chocolate bar wrappers have been designed to feature a quote from the classic book it’s based on. You can purchase our Classics Revisited subscription as a one, three or six month bundle. Prices start from £18.
Our original book subscription has undergone a slight change recently and no longer comes with the stationery items (don’t worry, there’s still a bookmark!) As a result, the cost works out at just £9. It’s available as a rolling subscription or as prepaid monthly bundles with a variety of options from three to twelve months. Each parcel contains a vintage book, bookmark and a packet of luxury tea pyramids (with a book themed name) from our friends at Jenier World of Teas.

This monthly subscription features classics from literature with our exclusively designed dust jackets, a matching bookmark and your choice of delicious tea or coffee from our small business friends. This is a book subscription for the design lovers. We work hard to put together a beautiful, cohesively designed parcel each month. Prices work out at just £13 a month.
VINTAGE CRIME THRILLER BOOK CLUBS
This literary subscription runs for three months and features a vintage crime thriller book and a packet of ground roasted coffee in each parcel. Whether it’s murder mystery books they’re in to or suspense novels, this is a great book lover gift and costs £29.95. Your first parcel contains a vintage Agatha Christie with the following months including a Dick Francis classic and a lucky dip from our crime thriller collection.
DREAM BIG CHILDREN’S BOOK CLUB
Our first children’s literary subscription and a great gift for the little bookworms! Working out at just £18 each month, our parcels contain a brilliant book based around adventure, dreaming big and being yourself and a delicious bar of milk chocolate with a fun bookish slogan design on the label. This subscription is aimed at children 9-12 year olds.
VINTAGE JAMES BOND BOOK & COFFEE SUBSCRIPTION
A similar set up to our crime thriller subscription in that it runs for three months, our vintage James Bond subscription is thoughtful and a great collector’s gift too. Each month your James Bond book will come with a delicious packet of ground roasted coffee. This brilliant literary gift costs £39.95.
VINTAGE POETRY BOOK SUBSCRIPTION
A three month vintage book subscription gift featuring a vintage poetry book and a delicious packet of coffee delivered straight to their door. The first month will be a book dedicated to one poet in particular (from a wide variety of eras) along with a bookmark featuring a beautiful quote from Virginia Woolf, the second month will be a ‘compilation of’ poetry book and the third month will be a modern poetry book.
THE BOOKISHLY CANDLE SUBSCRIPTION
A three month book themed candle subscription gift featuring scents based on iconic fictional locations: 221B Baker Street, Green Gables and The Secret Garden. Our literary candles are sent out every other month and are hand poured soy wax and vegan friendly! This three month sub costs £45.00.
Our new subscription features a classic poetry book with our exclusive dust jacket and a pack of ground roasted coffee or four luxury tea pyramids.
