This monthly book subscription will delight readers and chocolate lovers everywhere. A modern book based on or inspired by literature’s best loved classics and a delicious bar of artisan handmade chocolate, gift wrapped and delivered straight through the letterbox each month.
Each of these contemporary books have been carefully selected, all of them receiving great reviews, and have taken inspiration from classic stories we all know and love. From Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice through to Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre.
To help you make the link between the two stories, we’ve designed the wrappers on our chocolate bars to feature a quote from the classic book it’s based on.
This is a great book club to be a part of and a thoughtful gift too for those of you who are looking for a fun and unique present.
This subscription runs for one (you can buy it as one off bundle), three or six months. After placing your order, we will dispatch your welcome pack (first parcel) on the next working day. The welcome pack contains the usual items, in this case the book and chocolate, along with a sign-up card that includes all the information that the recipient needs to register their subscription.
Recipients must register online in order to receive their remaining monthly boxes. All recipients need to do is visit the website as directed. They then enter their unique code (this comes as part of the welcome pack) and enter their delivery details.
If this subscription is a gift then you have two options:
If you wish to send it straight to their address you can add a gift note. The recipient is then able to register their code and delivery details whenever they are ready. If the gift recipient is overseas then please simply select the appropriate international shipping option from the drop-down box provided.
We understand that not everybody is a computer whizz! You can choose to have the welcome pack delivered to your address where you can register on the recipient’s behalf. Just remember to enter their delivery details when registering.
Our codes don’t have an expiry date so for the super organised among you, it’s perfectly fine to buy in advance of actually giving the gift.
The books inside will always be paperback. The artisan chocolate bars are handmade by our small business friends at the Quirky Gift Library and the flavours will vary each month. We love creating products that support two creative businesses.
Classic Milk Chocolate:
Sugar, Cocoa butter, Whole milk powder, Cocoa mass, Emulsifier: Soy lecithin, Natural vanilla flavouring. Cocoa solids 33.5% minimum, Milk solids 22% minimum.
Dark Belgian Chocolate:
Cocoa mass, Sugar, Fat reduced cocoa powder, Emulsifier: Soy lecithin, Natural vanilla flavouring. Minimum cocoa solids 55%.
Dark Chocolate with Honeycomb:
Cocoa mass, Sugar, Fat reduced cocoa powder, Emulsifier: Soy lecithin (E322), Natural vanilla flavouring, Honeycomb: Sugar, Glucose syrup, Non-hydrogenated vegetable fat (Palm kernel oil, Palm oil), Bicarbonate of soda, Rice flour. Cocoa solids 54% minimum.
Milk Chocolate with Crispy Candy:
Sugar, Cocoa butter, Whole milk powder, Cocoa mass, Emulsifier: Soy lecithin, Natural vanilla flavouring, Candied chocolate nibs (Chocolate (Sugar, Cocoa mass, Cocoa butter, Emulsifier: soya lecithin), Flavouring), Sugar, Maize starch, Colours (Titanium Dioxide, Carmine, Curcumin), Stabiliser (Gum Arabic), Plant concentrates (Safflower, Spirulina), Glazing agents (Beeswax, Carnauba wax, shellac)). Salted Caramel Milk Chocolate:
Sugar, Cocoa butter, Whole milk powder, Cocoa mass, Emulsifier: Soy lecithin, Natural vanilla flavouring, Chopped caramel pieces (sugar, glucose syrup, whole cream (milk) from Insigny PDO (10%), butter (milk) from Insigny PDO (3.7%), salt of Guerande, emulsifiers, rapeseed lecithin, sucrose esters of fatty acids): Isle of Skye sea salt. Cocoa solids 33.5% minimum, Milk solids 22% minimum.
Raspberry Eton Mess White Chocolate:
